What is an RSL?
An RSL is a Restricted Service License to broadcast on a FM frequency. It is a license issued by OFCOM to community radio stations to allow them to broadcast for a maximum of 28 days twice a year.
When can you hear Bradley Stoke Radio on FM?
BSR gave its first FM Broadcast on an RSL for two weeks on 87.7fm commencing 4th June 2011 followed by a second FM RSL from the 3rd until 17th December 2011. We have now been awarded a full time FM Licence and plan to start broadcasting in the summer of 2012!
How can we normally listen to BSR?
You can listen online via our website as we will continue to produce the same shows and broadcast online through this website, just click the Listen Live button on any page. You can listen on the web player via a computer, iPhone/iPod/iPad, Android Phones and Tablets or a Blackberry.
Who are we?
Bradley Stoke Radio is run by volunteers and is a community association. This means we are a non-profit organisation with the community at heart. The association is run by a committee who have been together since 2010 and was formed with the support of Southern Brooks Community Partnership. Bradley Stoke Radio presenters are all volunteers and we have been trained and mentored by BCfm a full time community radio station based in Bristol. If you would like to become a member of Bradley Stoke Radio please take a look at the get involved page.
